We count it a privilege and honour to be able to call Michelham Priory in Hailsham, East Sussex, our base.  The Priory contains history dating back to 1229, coinciding beautifully with the era that we depict.

Another privilege we hold is that on these beautiful grounds any member of the group is allowed to practice his or her longbow skills every Sunday.  When practice days fall on the same day as an event being hosted by Michelham Priory, members (sometimes new at this type of archery) have the chance to dress up in 11-14th century costume and shoot giving the public a show and giving new members the practice they will require before appearing at one of Wolfhead Bowmans grand events.
If you are interested in taking up the longbow and are looking for a place for either practice or instruction and wish to know more details such as times and directions, the gentleman who oversees these practices is Milord Mark Leeney who can be contacted on:  01323 894659.  Mark will be sure to answer any queries you may have. An alternative contact is the Secretary, whose details are under "Contact Us  on this site.
