Wolfshead Bowmen are based at Michelham Priory,near Eastbourne, East Sussex.
We are a closed group and full membership is by invitation only.
Practice takes place on the 1st & 3rd of each month and we prefer members to shoot in costume, but this is not essential, during practice sessions.
Families are welcome and for those who do not shoot, an instruction course can be arranged an adult must accompany children under 18)
The process for membership is as follows:Arrange to come and meet the group at one of our events.
You will be required to attend a minimum of three events at your own expense and we can usually provide some basic costume to enable you to take part.
After three events the committee will consider your application for membership.It is essential that you are able to mix well, with other people, as for many of our events we live close together.If accepted you will be required to provide your own costume, bows and arrows etc; and pay a combined membership fee and insurance with the Grand National Archery Society totalling: £31.50.
The group will provide you with some costs towards travel, to and from events,a tent space for you to sleep and a mid day meal. You will also receive a news letter at least twice annually and general information on events.
